About

PLEASE NOTE: We are currently in the process of transferring this section from the old website including updating all the links.

This resource was initially developed by Sue Kildea, Centre for Family Health and Midwifery (CFHM), University of Technology Sydney, with the Council of Remote Area Nurses of Australia (CRANA). The funding for the initial development of the site was provided by a grant from the Rural Health, Support, Education and Training Scheme. The ongoing development and maintenance of this site will be performed by CRANAplus.

An additional part of this Project saw the development of another website that was produced with the women from Maningrida and its outstations. This resource has more information on traditional and cultural beliefs around childbirth practices.
